And both men inexplicably have the same peony-shaped birthmark. Due to Shino’s strong wishes, Sosuke wakes up from his comatose state therefore stopping the Ritual. When their village was wiped out five years ago, only Shino Inuzuka, Sosuke Inukawa, and the girl Hamaji, who was raised as if she were their sister, survived. Voiced by Tachibana Shinnosuke.Tsukimi is a jellyfish maniac ever since her mother took her to the jellyfish aquarium but what she really saw was jellyfish-like frilly dresses befitting a princess.Shino and Sousuke follow him, only to be stopped by Ao, who tells Shino that the princess will be revived in a short time and that Shino will never be able to collect all the beads before that. Inusaka Keno Main character.

Shino , Makoto Makiguchi , Sadao Matsumoto , Hajime Komuro. Nobuyoshi Kaiho , Shigeo Nagamine , Takashi Sese , Sousuke and Kishino. That’s a bunch of fujoshis for you. Touching one of her “daughters” (her dolls) will send her on a rampage there’s Mayaya who’s obsessed with The Romance of Three Kingdoms to the extend of saying lines from the novel at every opportunity that she has Banba who’s crazy about trains and there’s one who is only interested in older gentlemen. On top of it, she’s now living in a women-only apartment with tenants who have similar interests there’s the apartment owner’s daughter Chieko who is an obsessive doll collector. When they went north as part Girls will grow up to be beautiful princesses, or so her mother said but that’s definitely not the case with Tsukimi who grew up to be an otaku instead.

He currently works at his familys restaurant with his cousin while also Tsukimi life was peaceful and comfortable until she met cross-dressing guy, Kuranosuke and ever since then, her life is filled with (mis)adventures. Sosuke is a close childhood friend of Rin Matsuoka, and the person who understands him the most. He is a butterfly and freestyle swimmer on the Samezuka Academy swim team.

It’s like they are made for each other.Shino and Sousuke leave, and Kaho is later seen to bump into the other Sousuke. The best part of all is that Shu is not much different from Tsukimi with both being virgins and awkward with people of opposite sex. Too bad that Shu is just to dense to notice that the usual Tsukimi is the very same Tsukimi that he met. Her crush is not one-sided as Shu too, “fell” for her when he saw her after she has gotten a makeover from Kuranosuke.

Even Naoki noticed the change in his aunt’s expression and thought that it was rather strange. Everything seems fine until Takashi noticed that his mother seems agitated at the thought of them turning seventeen soon. Oh well…Thanks to the anime, I’m now hooked on the manga series which the anime is based on.The story opens with siblings Naoki and Noriko visiting their cousin, Takashi in the countryside. Directors: Mitsue. With Kuranosuke beginning to realise his feelings towards Tsukimi, will there be a love triangle between them? Or perhaps Shu will break Tsukimi’s heart for not accepting her fujoshi side? So, will there be a “Shukimi” or “Kurakimi” (what the heck am I blabbing about?)?I can totally see why Tsukimi is having a major crush on Shu…he’s cute! Or maybe it’s just me who has a thing for glasses-wearing guys.

Turns out that there is a reason behind all that and Naoki’s mom seems to know something about it but died without saying anything about it. Seeing all that, Naoki was convinced that there was someone else inside Takashi controlling his every being. The new Takashi seems to despise his mother and even attempted to kill her once. The good-natured Takashi is gone and in place of the person who once Takashi is a malicious-looking Takashi. He confided in Naoki about it but they didn’t think too much about it until the next day when Takashi’s behaviour has obviously changed.

He attempted in killing his own mother but failed when the latter committed suicide. An interesting read never short of suspense, I would say. After reflecting on what had happened, it all starting to make sense – Takashi is a Sugita first-born and has turned seventeen. Every first-born Sugita will murder their mother and subsequently kill himself upon turning seventeen and the same happened to Takashi’s uncle years ago. Pissed with his cousin, Naoki left the house with his sister.Still suspicious over the incident that took place at Takashi’s, Naoki did some digging of his own and found out some disturbing information about the Sugita’s (Takashi’s last name is Sugita).

No matter, the story managed to keep me reading till the end, which is good since I hate not finishing what I’ve started.Note: This post is written based on volumes 1 and 2 scanlated by Bliss.Shino work as a seiyuu (voice actor) for a living. The only one thing that I don’t really get is the whole blood-type thing seeing as the last time I touched Biology is back in high school. Trust me, the story behind the curse may seem generic but it was an interesting read till the end nonetheless. Wanting to know more of the story behind the curse I kept going and thankfully the story crafted by Ono Fuyumi didn’t fail.

It’s definitely something to be overjoyed for an ice hockey junkie but Nakaya was having some doubts on whether or not ice hockey is his passion. By chance, he was scouted by a university ice hockey team and was offered a place in the university’s affiliated high school. However, after coming to know that Shino’s male fellow seiyuus are aiming for him, he was pissed, Tenryuu in particular and is constantly worrying that someday his cute father will get eaten by the wolves.Nakaya is an ace ice hockey player and he loves being on the ice more than anything else. At first, Nakaya doesn’t seem pleased at all when hearing his father’s voice moaning and panting in those BL drama CDs but slowly he has come to acceptance that for Shino, it’s just a job that puts meal on the table. Still, he was found out in the end when Nakaya discovered his BL drama CD stash.

It’s much more realistic this way.Another criteria that I’d consider when picking a manga to read, is the year it was produced and I’d prefer to steer clear from mangas dating back to the mid-90s and earlier as the artwork may not be satisfactory. It’s not too rushed in the sense that the characters took their time in developing their relationships unlike most typical BL mangas where the characters fall in love too quickly and smex ensues. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t have given a second glance to BL mangas like this but for some reason, I’m just drawn to it just by its storyline alone. Nakaya’s relationship with Fuse however, has become Shino’s source of worry as he thought that Nakaya is influenced by the uke characters that he plays in his voice acting jobs.In essence, this manga that spans five volumes tells the story of Shino’s job as a voice actor and his relationship with his potential lover and at the same time, being a father to a teenaged son who is in his rebellious age. This is indeed not the usual type of BL manga that I often read.
